The Art of Scent
In the south of France, nestled between the sea and the mountains, lies Grasse, which has been the beating heart of the perfume industry since the 17th century. What began as a craft centered on scented leather has grown into a global hub where flowers, raw materials, and craftsmanship come together in the art of fragrance.
The fields around Grasse, with their jasmine, roses, citrus, and herbs, continue to form the foundation of a tradition centered on precision, composition, and respect for natural ingredients. Here, perfume is not simply made, but crafted as a balance between technique and intuition.
For Atelier Europe, we collaborate with a local workshop that carries on this rich heritage and brings it into the present day. It was here that our first two fragrances were created, developed with a focus on origin, materials, and sensory experience.
